2007年9月13日，内蒙古太西煤集团兰山煤业有限责任公司所属的阿拉善盟灭火工程有限责任公司工作人员在阿拉善盟古拉本矿区那里沟梁灭火二队露天剥离施工过程中发现一巨型整块太西无烟煤，体积为17.41立方米，重量为23.5吨，创世界纪录协会世界最大的整块无烟煤世界纪录。

---- A single piece of giant anthracite collected by Inner Mongolia TaiXi Coal Group

On September 13, 2007, the workers from Alxa Banner Firefighting Engering Co., Ltd., subordinated by Lashan Coal Co., Ltd. of Inner Mongolia TaiXi Coal Group, found a single piece of giant anthracite while conducting the open peel construction process at Naligou Liang, Gulaben mining area, Alxa Banner. With a volume of 17.41 cubic meters and a weight of 23.5 tons, this set the world record granted by the World Record Association for being the largest piece of anthracite in the world.
