2024年6月22日，中西區區議會、中西區民政事務處、社區應急輔助隊聯同八個協辦團體在香港中西區中山紀念公園舉辦「賀回歸 迎國慶 第十四屆中西區區節系列：中西區攜手凝聚愛國心」活動，中西區地區人士聯手展示一面面積為600 平方米的中國國旗，並在國旗週邊組成心形，占地面積為832 平方米，創世界紀錄協會「世界上最大的由人環繞中國國旗組成的心形」世界紀錄。

“Central & Western District Wholehearted Celebration of the Anniversary of the Establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the National Day”

The World Record Association acknowledges that a record of “The world’s largest heart shape formed by people that encircles the National Flag of the People’s Republic of China” was achieved during the event “Central & Western District Wholehearted Celebration of the Anniversary of the Establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the National Day” co-organised by the Central and Western District Council, the Central and Western District Office and the Community Emergency Aid Team, together with eight supporting organisations in Sun Yat Sen Memorial Park, Central and Western District, Hong Kong on 22 June 2024, for forming a heart shape that encloses an area of 832 square metres by people in the Central and Western District, within which a gigantic National Flag of the People’s Republic of China of 600 square metres was displayed.
